The Bergen County NAACP, The Fellowship of Black Churches of Hackensack & Vicinity, and The County Clerk’s Office are stepping up to protect and expand access to the ballot. In response to Hackensack’s failure to provide early voting options, these organizations are hosting community-led, in-person early voting events to ensure every eligible resident has the chance to make their voice heard:
Sunday, May 4, 2025 (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
One Bergen County Plaza, Room 130, Hackensack, NJ
CRITICAL DEADLINES:
• April 22: Last day to register to vote
• May 6: Deadline to request Vote-by-Mail by mail
• May 12 (by 3 PM): Deadline to apply for Vote-by-Mail in person
• May 13: ELECTION DAY – polls open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Need your ballot early? Visit the County Clerk’s Office on weekdays before May 12 (3 PM). No appointment or ID required—just bring or fill out your application on-site.
